How to Interpret Dreams and Vision by Perry Stone

In Acts 2:17, the Lord says He would pour out His Spirit upon all flesh, in the last days, and the result would be young men seeing visions and old men dreaming dreams. THE LAST DAYS-TIME TO PIERCE THE VEIL There is a veil covering the physical eyes and our spiritual understanding. from seeing invisible things, even though, these invisible things are in existence. Some people do not believe, at all, in this existence, but this doesn’t stop them from being in existence. Only when this veil is torn or pierced, can we get to see these things. The Bible is full of men who pierced this veil. Elisha could see in this realm. When the Syrian army surrounded him, and his servant, he had to pray for his servant’s eyes to be opened, so he could see the chariots of fire encamped around them. On, earth, our inner vision, which causes the brain to see pictures, at night, can perceive some of these happenings in the invisible world. And God shows us things to prepare us for something, or cause ...

HOW TO PLAN YOUR LIFE BY JIM DAVIDSON

It is a common fact in life that we are often not goal-oriented. And for the most part of our lives, we tend to live the goal of others. We were not taught to be goal-oriented in schools or by our parents, but when reality finally dawns on us after college to figure out our next plan, it is at this moment we decide that we must be successful in this life.

We then begin to consider what careers to go into or what jobs to take.” How to Plan your Life”, teaches how to go from where you are now, to where you would like to be in the nearest future. It is “nearest” because the future is not as far as we may think it is. “Those who have goals are moving, while people who have no goals become bored and stagnant” as the author says.

If our lives will be meaningful and enjoyable, debt-free and happy, we must plan it. Specific, definite goals with time frames must be put on paper if we are to achieve anything of worth. Our success is tied to our goal setting. The human mind has no limit to which it can successfully perform great tasks and be successful, but the output is majorly influenced by the input. What is fed to the mind per time? What is the mind made to chase per time? For the mind is only what it has been trained to be.

The mind is influenced by perceptions related to our sense organs. What we see, hear, breathe, taste and feel. If the mind is made to hear and see positive things often, it develops a positive perspective of everything it thinks about. This positive perspective, in turn, determines how it responds to the sense organs and in turn, produces the self-image of a person.

Evaluating oneself should start from who the person is now, to where he/she currently is, physically, mentally, socially, to where they are going. Jim says that if you have a job and are working to pay your bills, but you have no commitment, no plans, no purpose, and no goals, then you are not a success. But he agrees with Ethan Moore of Hattiesburg, Mississippi that, “That person is successful who finds what God intended for him to do with his life, prepares himself to do it, and does it daily to the best of his ability.” One can then see the decisions that would have to be made to get where they want to be.

The role of other people in the success of your goals can not be overemphasized. People will determine how far you will go with you have to offer them, because everything you would need to be successful is in the hands of others. Therefore, you must give more value than you receive especially at the beginning moments, where you are still gaining momentum. One’s receiving could come from wheresoever, because receiving is very flexible. Jim goes further to say that one’s goals should be:

·      Realistic: Sensible and in logical steps.
·      Attainable: How much money, time & effort will the goal cost? Do you have the educational background or experience needed to reach this goal now or will it be later in the future?
·      Written on Paper: Implying commitment on your part.
·      Limited with respect to time:  Time limit creates a sense of urgency & helps to avoid procrastination.
·      Specified as whether short term or long term.
·      Appropriate to all areas of your life: Keeping your personal priorities in mind.
After you have written down clearly your goals, your work to achieve them will be the only mark of your success. The difference between a man of achievement and a man of mediocrity is a difference of only about two percent, in study, application, interest, attention & effort. Just 2% separates the winner from the loser.

Getting to one’s dreams would also require considering things such as; deciding whether to take on a career or a job, what natural or man-made laws are followed, what kind of a person would they be, how much of spiritual growth do they have. The role of the family in shaping good qualities in a person, the economic situation of the location of the person, and essential habits and skills, such as time management, good communication skills and the ability to keep learning are also very relevant.

Also, persistence is one sure way to success: persistence at hard work. It is giving a challenge some time to turn into a blessing.
