How to Interpret Dreams and Vision by Perry Stone

Image
In Acts 2:17, the Lord says He would pour out His Spirit upon all flesh, in the last days, and the result would be young men seeing visions and old men dreaming dreams. THE LAST DAYS-TIME TO PIERCE THE VEIL There is a veil covering the physical eyes and our spiritual understanding. from seeing invisible things, even though, these invisible things are in existence. Some people do not believe, at all, in this existence, but this doesn’t stop them from being in existence. Only when this veil is torn or pierced, can we get to see these things. The Bible is full of men who pierced this veil. Elisha could see in this realm. When the Syrian army surrounded him, and his servant, he had to pray for his servant’s eyes to be opened, so he could see the chariots of fire encamped around them. On, earth, our inner vision, which causes the brain to see pictures, at night, can perceive some of these happenings in the invisible world. And God shows us things to prepare us for something, or cause us t

The Leader Who Had No Title by Robin Sharma

Image
Leadership and Success are Your Birthright  Everyone is entitled to both leadership and success, but sadly most people die without encountering any of these two. Blake Davis was in that reality, too, not expecting anything more than he expected. He was a good guy, had good parents, lived the average life, medicated the problems he had with TV, and had bountiful amounts of food and worry. He finally decided to change course, a little, he enlisted in the army to have a sense of belonging. When he was done, he bored the pains of the horrific events at war. No one could understand him, except his fellow soldier colleagues. He felt alone, insignificant, and wanted to die. He got a job at a bookshop, and he still wasn’t doing well, but his love of books kept him there. Then, one day, the strangest thing happened and his life never remained the same.  My Meeting with a leadership mentor A tap on his shoulder made him startled. Tommy Flinn was the name of the gentleman dressed in ruffled cloth

I AM MALALA-The Girl Who Stood Up for Education and Was Shot by the Taliban by MALALA YOUSAFZAI with Christina Lamb

Image
I am MALALA is about a young girl who does not believe in the culture of leaving girls uneducated. Malala was not born with a silver spoon in her mouth but she was educated by her parents and grandparents. She was named after Malalai Maiwand, the greatest heroine of Afghanistan. Malala was born on July 12, 1997. She always topped her class. Her mother did school briefly by starting and dropping out at the same term. Therefore, her greatest joy was to see that her daughter was educated.  This leads us to 1956 when her grandparents were still single. During this time, the Shutans became part of Pakistan and created the Taliban for Islamisation and socialization. Before Taliban was created, the Pushtans and the Pakistans fought against the red army (the Russians). A maulana called Sufi Mohammed came to Swat and recruited some men to fight against the Russians in the name of Islam. This maulana organization was what grew up to become the Swat Taliban. Malala stood up for the education and

Image
Alek was born the seventh of nine children in a Sudanese family that belonged to the Dinka tribe. She would forever be proud to come from the Dinka. Few years after her birth, the war that ravaged Sudan began. She was named Alek, meaning “Black-spotted cow”. Her family lived in Wau, apart from her sister who lived in London with her architect husband, and some of her brothers who lived in the cities. There were times when Ajok-Alek’s sister who lived in London would write letters that she wanted to come back home to Sudan, but they would write back telling her that the future of the family depended on her. If they were ever going to be out of the warring Sudan, it would be Ajok who would help them obtain refugee status. The Dinka people loved cows. Their cows were sacred to them. They would name each cow and talk with them. The Dinka people moved a lot, as herdsmen do, but some of them came to settle down and had villages and communities, but their love for cows still lingered. They li

SECOND-CLASS CITIZEN by BUCHI EMECHETA

Image
This is the story of strength, struggle, and love. It is not your average love story, it is deeper than that. There so much strength and so much grace in being an African. Being an African also counts for being able to carry burdens and still being able to laugh about them. Buchi Emecheta is no compromising here. She tells it real and raw. This is Africa. Childhood Adah did not even know her date of birth. But no one cares, because, you see, she is a girl. A girl who came when everyone was expecting a boy. She was so insignificant to everyone, but she recalls the story of her life since eight. At least, she felt she was eight years old. Adah was from Ibuza, but she was born in Lagos. At that time, the people of Ibuza were preparing to receive their first lawyer from the UK. The way Adah’s father would sound the word, ”UK”, made her feel like the UK was where God lived. The lawyer’s arrival felt like the coming of the Messiah to the Ibuza women. The Lawyer would fight for Ibuza and

From the small village of Roseto Valfortore, Italy, where they had always inhabited until word came that there was a land of opportunity across the ocean. It was found that it was very scarce for the people of Roseto to die of heart illness. It was rare to die of suicide, alcoholism, drugs, or crime. Even peptic ulcer was no match for them. The Roseto’s were outliers because they brought their culture along with them. A culture that values community, humility, and egalitarianism. Wolf and Bruhn, the two sociol

The Thing About Your Neck is a collection of short stories by the author. The stories are greatly Pan-African and reveal the truths many of us struggle with. Each of these stories is carefully crafted and is real. This is not faux, so you can pity Blacks or White, or any in-between. INTRODUCTION CLEARED FOR TAKEOFF The way airplanes take off is similar to the activation of visions. It starts with positive thinking to break the law of limitation that is keeping you on the floor. The few ways to a breakthrough in business are the bird's eye view, by: *Having a vision of where you're going. *Starting with what you have or can afford. *Learning from mistakes. *Aiming to be better. PART I EXPAND YOUR VISION CHAPTER ONE Ignite Your Flight: Putting Vision in Motion   T.D Jakes was asked how he has been able to survive his multiple works. But, the simple answer was in the life of his father,  how he hustled by doing multiple jobs to feed the family and meet the family's needs. The quite unfortunate thing was when his father settled for a janitorial service, he spent his time being busy, and doing it all alone instead of organizing the business itself. This is simply because of the limited vision the business had, so it could not go too far. Undue hunger for pr
